On May 2, members of the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Veterinary Technology Program gathered in the Veterinary Technology building on Seven Springs Road for an awards ceremony and to wish retiree Dr. Kirby Sills a happy retirement.
Dr. Sills has been with ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúfor 13 years as a Veterinary Technology instructor. There were three students who were also recognized and awarded scholarships.
- Kristen Nail – the Bobby Glenn Scholarship, which pays tuition for a summer internship.
- First-year Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association Award – Madison Bullock.
- Second-year MVMA Award – Alexis Thompson.
