PEARL –  The Alpha Omicron Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú’s Rankin Campus inducted new members and officers during a drive-through ceremony March 12.
Newly inducted members include Dakota Ashby, of Flowood; Katherine Coker, of Clinton; Summer Georgen, of Puckett; Jonathan Hester, of Richland; Tatiyana Moore, of Pearl; Nathan Pittman, of Madison; Christopher Reed, of Brandon; Ethan Ricks, of Brandon; Abbey Roberts, of Brandon; Mikah Seldon, of Brandon; Raegan Shaw, of Flowood; Alex Szakal, of Florence; Cameron Thomas, of Pearl; Rashauna Thomas, of Pearl; Dylan Thompson, of Brandon; Sophia West, of Puckett; Ethan Westbrook, of Pearl and Torri Wilcox, of Brandon.
Officers include Bethany Martin, vice president of Scholarship; Destinee Wright, vice president of Service; Ashlyn Martin vice president of Public Relations; April Skaggs, vice president of Leadership; and Bayleigh Morgan, vice president of Fellowship.
Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for community and junior college students. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa is extended to students who have a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or above on 12 or more transferrable credit hours. There are more than 1,200 Phi Theta Kappa chapters throughout the United States and abroad.
