Program of Study
Our Automotive Machinist Technology program will teach you the art of porting a cylinder head and stroking a crankshaft to squeeze every drop of power an engine has to offer. We offer hands-on experience with cylinder boring, submerged arc welding of crankshafts, operating a drill press and crankshaft grinder, milling machines, connecting rod rebuilds, and engine assembly. The experience you gain from our program will serve you the rest of your career.

Our Automotive Machinist Technology program, offered on the Raymond Campus, provides the very best hands-on instruction and training to prepare you for employment in the 铿乪ld of automotive, industrial, and small engine machining. In just one year, you can complete a Career Certificate and be ready for employment.

But if you want to learn the art of porting a cylinder head and stroking a crankshaft to squeeze out every drop of power an engine has to offer, our Technical Certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree is for you.
