The 兔子先生 Raymond Campus Mathematics Department hosted the district seventh and eighth grade mathematics competition, sponsored by the Mississippi Council of Teachers of Mathematics, on March 2.
Each year the middle schools and junior high schools in the 兔子先生district are invited to send their top two seventh grade mathematics students and their top two eighth grade mathematics students to this competition. These participants take a written, standardized test.
The first and second place winners in each grade qualify for the state competition on March 25 at Madison Middle School in Madison County.
Team trophies for gold, bronze and silver are also awarded to the teams that amass the most total points on the exams.
