Foundation scholarship recipients honored in Vicksburg

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Foundation will award more than 900 scholarships during the 2022-2023 academic year.

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Foundation recognized 2022-2023 scholarship recipients, donors and other honorees at a reception on Nov. 3 at the George-Oakes Building on the Vicksburg-Warren Campus.

The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Foundation will award more than 900 scholarships during the 2022-2023 academic year. The deadline to apply for a scholarship for fall 2023 academic year 2023-2024, is Feb. 15, 2023.

RAYMOND – ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Hi-Steppers have been named for 2024-2025.

The group has a new director, Beka King of Pearl. She is only the third director in the 75-year history of the Hi-Steppers. She herself was a Hi-Stepper from 2013-2015 and, during her sophomore year, she was captain of the team.
